Zhuzhou Shennong Grand Theater consists of a 1,400-seat grand theater, a 400-seat experimental theater, and a public space and logistics auxiliary building with a total construction area of 40,388 square meters. It include third floor of the basement (the theater of the Grand Theatre) and the third floor of the building, with a building height of 86.3m. The large theater space truss shell steel structure adopts the space hollow box-shaped truss structure system, and the beam-column integrated variable-thickness plane hollow truss is arranged by the control base point in the radial direction, and a certain number of continuous hollow trusses are arranged along the ring according to the building division. Forming a spatial structure system with the radial truss to form a spiral feature on the architectural form. The main structure of the whole steel shell consists of 60 set radial main truss, 14 set ring truss, 3 set space truss and pressure ring, inter column support, roof support, wall windproof system. The single truss spans 120m and the total steel used for steel structures is about 8,000 tons.
